The Kardashian sisters are sticking up for their brother, Rob, following comments his ex-girlfriend made in the new issue of Latina magazine several years after their breakup.

The Real host Adrienne Bailon told the magazine that her relationship with Rob Kardashian tainted her professional life.

“To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late—not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show,” she told the magazine in the September issue.

The couple – who dated for two years from 2007 to 2009 – broke up because of Kardashian’s infidelity. His unsuccessful attempt to win Bailon back was documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2010.

Bailon, 30, also said that people tell her she “ruined Rob’s life" since Kardashian, 27, has struggled with personal problems, including weight issues, for the past few years.

Kim quickly took to Twitter after Bailon’s comments hit the web and defended her little brother.

“Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is bc she is talking about a Kardashian,” she wrote on Tuesday evening. “So sad when people try to kick my brother when he is down #FamilyForever.”

And if there was any uncertainty that Kim was talking about Bailon, Khloe cleared it up. A fan asked whether or not Kim was “shading her” and Khloe replied, “Don't think it was a secret. For sure. Don't kick my brother while he's down.”

Kourtney also chimed in, “STILL talking about us?!” That tweet has been deleted.

However, this isn't the first time Bailon spoke about her ex-boyfriend. During an episode of The Real last July, the co-host revealed she pretended to have a boyfriend in order to get Kardashian to leave her alone. She also spoke about the tattoo she inked on her body when they were an item.

"Now that is a ratchet tattoo. I made a very bad decision. Don't follow my example," she said.
