Beyonce seemed to add fuel to the divorce rumor fire after she was spotted searching for a new apartment without her husband Young Forever rapper Jay Z.

According to New York Daily News Wednesday, Beyonce looked at $21.5 million penthouse in Chelsea. The 4,054 square-foot home features five bedrooms and five bathrooms with a view of the Hudson River. Still, it is much smaller in comparison to the 8,000 square-foot pad the superstar couple shares together in Tribeca, sparking rumors that Beyonce is looking for a temporary home for her and their 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Interestingly enough, Katie Holmes also moved to the area when she split from Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise.

The couple has been dodging divorce rumors for months now. Aside from the apartment search, the latest speculation claims that fellow R&B superstar Rihanna is just one of the many causes of the split.

An insider told Page Six Saturday that it was Rihanna who Jay Z was heading to see when Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles attacked him in an elevator after the Met Ball back in May.

They said, "Solange was like 'Enough is enough - you must be [screwing] Rihanna.' To many people who know them, they know it's not out of the realm of possibility."

While the couple plays up the romance on stage for their popular On the Run tour, the insider also said that the love ends on the stage.

"His phone's constantly ringing. Jay trying to make deal after deal. There's face-saving involved - they don't want to be looked at like other celebrities out there. They are business people first, entertainers second. Husband and wife comes somewhere down the line."
