RuPaul's Drag Race might be taking a stronger step next season to show love and anti-discrimination ever since a controversy took place in Season 6.

Arabia Felix To Be A Contestant In Season 7?

In the reality series' previous season, there was a "Female or She-Male" challenge where the contestants would look at closeup shots of legs, chests and lips, and they had to decide if the person in the picture was a woman or a man dressed up as a woman. This led to some serious discussion with people expressing how discriminating that was against transgender people.

Michelle Visage, who's a judge on the show and a good friend of RuPaul, revealed that there is nothing judgmental about the series and it's about strength and being taken seriously.

Season 7 Will Be 'Bigger & Better?'

"As a community we've been fighting for equality, we want to be viewed as equal," Visage told Gay Star News, published on Wednesday.

"The more the infighting happens, the more we look like a joke to the general public," she added. "It's absolutely about being strong, saying we're not a joke, we're not someone to point at, be made fun of and laugh."

The judge then said that people "need to stop pointing fingers" and that she supports trans people. She also mentioned that there is no hate coming out of the show- only love.

"I might not feel the same about the same things as a trans person does," Visage said. "Discrimination is disgusting, and people will discriminate long after anyone remembers the controversy even existed."

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 is expected to premiere in February 2015 on Logo TV.
