Prince William and Kate will head to Scotland with Prince George, according to Vanity Fair. The royal family will pay a visit to Prince Charlie and Duchess Camilla as well as to the Queen and Prince Philip at the Balmoral Castle.

They will also spend time in Anmer Hall, their country home located on the Queen's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England. The house - which has 10 bedrooms and a swimming pool - is currently being renovated.

The magazine noted that the Duchess "has been hands-on with the renovations and has helped with the redesign and interiors, and is apparently keen to make sure the final touches go exactly as planned."

"They will be at Anmer for much of the time they have off," a source told the magazine. "They cannot wait to move in and they want to make sure the last stages of the refurb go to plan."

The family vacation will come weeks after Prince George had his first birthday. The adorable royal baby was born on July 22, 2013 and a few months later was photographed at his christening. Middleton and her husband Prince William smiled from ear to ear at the October ceremony.

"It's very emotional," the Duchess of Cambridge said after her baby was born. "It's such a special time. I think any parent will know what this feeling feels like."
