While Beyonce and Jay Z remain silent about speculation that they are calling it quits, an insider speaks out on rumors that Rihanna is one of his mistresses.

They spoke with Hollywood Life and shut down the idea that Rihanna plays a factor in their rumored dwindling marriage.

The insider said Wednesday, "Rihanna has been enjoying being out of the spotlight and enjoying the anonymity of being alone, but these constant claims of her and Jay Z having sex are just ridiculous."

They added that not only is the rumor laughable, Rihanna looks up to Jay Z as a father, not lover. They claimed that their relationship doesn't go any further than that.

"Over the years, he's helped groom her into the star she's become and nothing but supportive of her and her career. That's just it, nothing else.

"Jay is married, and even if she wanted to step to him, which I assure you she doesn't, it wouldn't even go down because he's married and that's simply foul and out of line."

Still, whatever is going on between the Crazy in Love duo has reportedly caused Beyonce to search for an apartment without him. She was spotted trying to be secretive as she eyed a $21.5 million penthouse in the Chelsea area of New York City.

"She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly," an insider said.

The couple continues to their On the Run tour as they dodge rumors that their marriage is over. Their next stop is Los Angeles, Calif. They will end their tour on Sept. 13 in Paris, France.
