McHale, who plays Artie on Glee, spoke with The Sun about the 13-episode final season of the show, revealing that Monteith and his character Finn would be featured somehow.

With the ending of Glee coming soon, McHale said that the series has had a good run in its six seasons on the air.

"We're about to start filming our last season, but, as sad as that may be, I think that's that," he said. "We've had a really good run, and we've done some amazing storytelling, and we've got meet a lot of the fans around the world, which is pretty rare for a show to get to do."

He added that the series was ending "at a good point" overall, noting, "We've seen the characters become young adults, and I think they're going to wrap it up in a nice way."

Glee's final season is expected to air in early 2015 on Fox, considering the series was left off the network's Fall 2014 schedule.
