Downton Abbey is currently in the process of filming the fifth season and it looks like a familiar location will be taking place.

Lady Mary To 'Confess' Something To Anna?

On Wednesday, Radio Times announced that a certain area used for magic and wizardry will be hosting the crew and taking over the British series. Filming will reportedly take place at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland until August 8.

Some might recall this castle as the stand-in for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. It's unclear exactly how much of this scenery will be used, but there might be some moments that all the Potter might remember.

Will Lady Mary Decide On A New Husband?

As for how the story will go on the series, it looks like Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael) will be having issues especially with Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery).

"Mary doesn't know Edith has a daughter," Carmichael said, published on The Independent. "So Edith certainly won't get any symathy from her unknown sister."

Despite any angry tension that goes on between the characters, Dockery pointed out that the two actresses actually take pleasure from this.

"Mary's mean to Edith especially this season- me and Laura love it when they're mean to each other, it's more fun to do," Dockery added.

The actress also mentioned that Mary will be "embracing her new life" ever since the death of her husband took place.

"She's through the grief now and I kind of see [Season] 5 as the new Mary," she said. "She's got a bit of her bite back, which we had in [Season] 1."

Downton Abbey Season 5 is expected to premiere on Sunday, January 4 in the United States on PBS.
