Avengers: Age of Ultron's Paul Bettany can't comment on The Vision's connection to JARVIS, but the actor can promise a "sassy" and "omnipotent" being will eventually gain the trust of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

It is currently unknown how Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) AI system will factor into the creation of The Vision, but unlike Ultron, Bettany's character will eventually become a trusted ally in the eyes of the Avengers.

I think there's a lot of, initially in the plot, as it were, a lot of distrust, and that has to be navigated by The Vision, and he does it in a quite extraordinarily shocking way, Bettany told Comic Book Resource. "He gains their trust in a real - it will be - it's a real roof-raiser of a moment. Everybody will flip."

In the meantime, however, the Vision must quickly evolve, making him both a powerful omnipotent figure while simultaneously possessing the naivety of a child.

"The thing that appealed to me was this sort of nascent creature being born and being both sort of omnipotent and totally naïve," Bettany explained, according to Comic Book Resources. "And the danger of that and the sort of complex nature of somebody, of a thing being born that is that powerful and that fully created in a second."

One thing the Vision will master rather quickly, as it were, is a "sassy" attitude.
