Starting August 3, Showtime is going to be launching exciting new companion webisodes for Ray Donovan.

The network is committed to making the experience that much more enriching for fans and these webisodes will surely do the trick. A few details about some of these post-episode specials have been revealed. They will feature supporting actors from the show like Katherine Moennig, who plays Lena, and Steven Bauer, who plays Avi, and focus take fans through the intricate process of how they get Ray's (Liev Schreiber) dirty work done.

"Showtime has a history of developing award-winning transmedia experiences, such as the Dexter 'Early Cuts' webisodes and Homeland 'Aftermath,'" Don Buckley, Executive Vice President of Program Marketing and Digital Services, said in a statement. "For Ray Donovan, we chose to focus on Lena and Avi because they act on Ray's behalf to pull off the fixes, but we rarely see their work behind the scenes. Based on fans' positive reaction to the fixer element of the show in Season 1, we felt these stories were the right elements to expand upon the linear narrative by continuing these stories on our digital platforms."

The preview for the upcoming episode of season 2 of Ray Donovan reveals that Ray (Liev Schreiber) is going to bed the Boston Globe reporter that is investigating Sully's murder.

The second season premiered on July 13.

Episode 4 of Ray Donovan will air on Sunday, Aug 2 at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
