The cast of Showtime's conspiracy drama Homeland is expanding in Season 4 as three more actors have signed on for upcoming episodes.

Three new actors set to join Homeland this year are Mark Moses (Mad Men, Desperate Housewives), Nimrat Kaur (The Lunchbox) and Art Malik (True Lies), according to The Hollywood Reporter Thursday. Moses and Kaur will be recurring in several episodes of Season 4 while Malik will appear as a guest in at least one episode.

Moses will play Dennis, an academic who teaches political science at Quaid-I-Azam University in Islamabad. Kaur will be playing a high-level operative working in the Inter-Services Intelligence of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Malik will be playing retired Pakistani general Bunran "Bunny" Latif, who is also an old friend of Saul (Mandy Patinkin).

Other previously announced actors set to appear in the fourth season of Homeland include Laila Robins (The Sopranos), Corey Stoll (House of Cards) and Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi). Robins will be a series regular in Season 4, playing Martha Boyd, the U.S. Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Stoll will guest star as Sandy Bachman, the CIA Chief of Station in Pakistan who is described as a "rising star" in the agency.

Sharma will play a Pakistani medical student who winds up crossing paths with Carrie (Claire Danes).

The is said to be a year of big change for Homeland, with the series changing its central location to the Middle East with Carrie in the heart of all the geopolitical drama.

Homeland Season 4 premieres Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
