Actress Kate Beckinsale told Allure magazine that despite being named the "the sexiest woman alive," in 2009, now she is just "old news."

The "Total Recall" remake actress who appears in the cover of Allure's latest issue, opened up about her 2009 title and the risks that come with it but admits that the fanfare has worn out with the years.

"I think the risk of being the sexiest woman alive is that you don't want to ever have sex again. You don't want to wear a bikini again. You want to wear some nice overalls and a trucker's hat," the actress told the magazine.

"Anyway, you're only that for a year, and then you're done. You're old news. I don't know who it is right now, but it's not me," she added.

The 38-year-old actress, who has a 13-year-old daughter, also talked about finding herself attractive later in her life.

"I didn't feel very attractive as a child, and actually I wasn't," Beckinsale said.

"Feeling attractive didn't come until I was 29 and with [my husband] Len [Wiseman]. Maybe it has to do with not having had a dad. I'd never experienced a father saying, 'Oh, you look good," she noted.

Beckinsale stars as Lori in "Total Recall," (Colin Farrell's onscreen wife) which was played by Sharon Stone in the original. The movie also stars Jessica Biel.

Beckinsale, who is married to "Total Recall" director Len Wiseman, said she was almost cast for the three breasted woman that became an icon in the movie.

"I'm so glad that I didn't do that. I mean, she gets more attention than Jessica or me put together," Kate said laughing at the Comic-Con 2012 convention in San Diego, according to the Daily Mail.

"My daughter would die. She'd be so mad at me, going into eighth grade, if I was walking around with three boobs all the time. She'd be really annoyed."
