Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult have reportedly split again, but the Hollywood stars aren't on bad terms.

A source told E! News that the breakup "was very amicable" and says their busy careers are to blame.

"They spent a lot of time apart because of work and it was difficult on their relationship," the source said.

Lawrence and Hoult met on the set of X-Men: First Class back in 2011 and dated for the following two years. They broke up in January 2013, but reunited while filming the movie's sequel.

Hoult opened up about his relationship with Lawrence in VMan magazine's spring issue and revealed that the Oscar winner has stayed grounded despite all her fame.

"I think that's something she's capable of doing, and that's what makes her special... But yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. It is well-deserved for her. I haven't really seen any change in her," the 24-year-old said about Lawrence's ability to stay humble, via The Huffington Post.

Yet, Lawrence isn't the only unpretentious one. The actress once gushed to U.K.'s Vogue about Hoult and his good looks. "He has absolutely no idea how good-looking he is," she said in the magazine's November 2012 issue. "I think a lot of women and men hate me because of that."
