"Tom has a very different relationship with this girl. He doesn't really know what it is. He doesn't really have any sense of familial bond to a baby that he knew as a baby and then she was six and then the next thing you know she was 21, and she's got powers and she may be meeting with the enemy," Wyle explained, according to Buddy TV. "It all is very difficult to digest and the small fraction of familial feeling that he has towards her is what allows her to put his guard down enough and not view her as a security risk that she is."
