Companion Webisodes To Be Launched For Ray Donovan

Speaking to the Baltimore Sun, Pierce suggested that Ronald will be manipulated by Ray. Ronald, who has also starred in The Wire and Treme, is a broke parole officer, and it Ray steps in to improve his financial situation, but not out of sheer goodwill.

"Ronald Keith, like most of the people in Ray Donovan's world, has his flaws," Pierce said. "His flaw is gambling. It has really compromised who he is personally and professionally. When we meet him at the bar, he's put himself in a financial bind because of his gambling."

The actor went on to talk about how his character is highly susceptible and an easy victim to Ray.

"Ray is very good at exploiting peoples' vulnerabilities and using them for his benefit," Pierce said. "I happen to be one of the people who falls into his web and is used. A desperate man does desperate measures and will consider compromising his job. Ronald Keith has lost his true north and who he is as a parole officer because of his gambling debts. He's willing to conspire with anyone to get out that bind."

The second season premiered on July 13.

The next episode of Ray Donovan will air on Sunday, Aug 2 at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
