Actress Betsy Brandt is coming back to NBC's Parenthood.

The Breaking Bad alum plays Sandy, the ex-wife of Hank (Ray Romano). She appeared in one episode during the season four episode, "Trouble in Candyland," where she leaves town to find a new life Minnesota.

Brandt will have a much bigger role on the sixth season and will appear on the season premiere, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Last season, Hank rekindled his romance with Sarah (Lauren Graham). Could Sandy's return start a love triangle or stir major trouble?

Parenthood fans will get to see the Braverman family for 13 final episodes in the fall. The drama was renewed for a sixth and final season in May and showrunner Jason Katims is excited to end the NBC show properly.

"For a show I'm so personally invested in ... I think of it as a gift to know that we get to tell this last part of the story," Katims said at the Television Critics Association's fall previews, TVGuide.com reported. "It's a great feeling to have these last 13 episodes."

Katims also explained that next season will include elements that may surprise fans. "One of the things I wanted to do with the season was to find one larger story that influences everybody on the show," the website also reported. "It's a huge challenge for this family and a kind we haven't seen before."

Parenthood returns on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
