According to golf.com yesterday, Johnson will be serving a six-month suspension for failing a drug test. The website reported that Johnson tested positive for cocaine. A source told the website that Johnson has failed three drug tests in total, one for marijuana in 2009 and two for cocaine, in 2012 and 2014.

According to PGA rules, the tour doesn't have to comment on players who test positive for recreational drugs.

Why Paulina Gretzky's Fiance Dustin Johnson Is Leaving The PGA

The New York Post reported yesterday that Johnson announced his leave of absence Thursday. "I am taking a leave of absence from professional golf, effective immediately," Johnson said, three days after withdrawing from the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio because of what he said at the time were "personal reasons.''

"I will use this time to seek professional help for personal challenges I have faced,'' Johnson continued, "By committing the time and resources necessary to improve my mental health, physical well-being and emotional foundation, I am confident that I will be better equipped to fulfill my potential and become a consistent champion. I respectfully ask my fans, well-wishers and the media for privacy as I embark upon this mission of self-improvement."

Since Johnson's announcement, Gretzky has not used her Twitter account. The last time the blonde beauty tweeted was on June 22 to wish Johnson a happy birthday. "Happy Birthday Baby @djohnsonpga!! From Loved Ones All Around The World"
