Remy Ma left prison on Friday after serving six of her eight-year sentence.

The Bronx rapper confirmed the news via Instagram with a post that read "#I'm back !!"

Remy Ma, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, posted another photo that showed her in the studio with DJ Khaled. "I had a busy first day #ImAround," she wrote as the caption on Saturday.

And in one more Instagram post, she shared a selfie with the caption, "Woke up n my own bed, still can't believe it ! #ImAround #TheRulersBack."

The rapper served her sentence at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in New York. The 34-year-old was charged with assault for a 2007 shooting in New York City involving a member of her entourage. The former Terror Squad member was given eight years in prison, but was released earlier than expected. She was originally scheduled to leave prison on Thursday, however she was held for one more day.

Remy Ma's husband/rapper Papoose welcomed her home with a special celebration. He uploaded a photo of a cake and included the caption, "Congratulations to the #Queen happy 2c you walk out that cage!!!!!!!!!! Time 2 begin a new chapter It's your time #therulersback wish strong was here 2c this #therulersback #therulersback #ripstrong."

Last week, Remy Ma phoned in to New York's Power 105.1 to speak with radio host Angie Martinez and revealed that she's "shocked" that her husband -- whom she wed in 2008 while she was incarcerated -- stood by her side all these years.

"Now, after you hold somebody down for six and a half years, it's kind of serious," she said.

She also revealed that she will return to the studio. "It's not gonna be fair," she said. "My pen game is crazy."
