The Long Island Medium is set to make her big return to television for the continuation of her fifth season, despite recently being reported as a fraud and reportedly being placed under investigation.

Teresa Caputo, the star of the TLC reality series, is set to start the new episodes by doing readings in L.A. according to a TLC press release.

"Theresa is on the road again, and she's surprising lucky fans with readings in Las Vegas! While the whole Caputo family takes in the casinos, the buffets and the best Vegas has to offer, Theresa surprises a woman in the midst of recording an album who needs to connect with her mother. Later, Theresa surprises a woman at her bachelorette party," the release states.

The episode is the first to air on the network following controversial claims in June that Caputo was a fake.

Radar Online reported June 5 that a whistleblower and investigator named Ron Tebo had been speaking to dissatisfied clients of Caputo's, and it was without a doubt she was not a genuine medium.

Theresa is like a vulture preying on the most vulnerable," Tebo said. "I think it's despicable."

Fans themselves have also expressed concern after some of her ticketed shows, including one in Hershey, Penn. in April, where she didn't get a single reading correct.

"She seemed off and almost every reading was like pulling teeth to match up info. She was really grasping at straws and did a lot of 'fishing,'" one disappointed audience member allegedly told Ticketmaster. "For the most part, readings were force and uninspired."

Regardless of the allegations, Caputo will return for more episodes of her hit show.

Season 5 continues on Sunday, August 3 at 9 p.m. on TLC.
