Young Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) has been missing for more than 24 hours now on General Hospital, and the chance that he may not see his son again is deeply affecting Nikolas (Tyler Christopher).

Nikolas Learns Of Britt's Plot?

His son's disappearance has brought him closer to former fiancée Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and being with her has been helping him cope. However, he is unaware that his son and Britt planned the entire disappearance-and this is all a set-up designed to get Nikolas back with Britt once again.

After Britt continues to lend her help to Nikolas, it could cause her twisted plan to take a surprising turn.

Sam Suspects Nina Is Lying

"You need to stay here and relax," Britt says to him in a preview clip for the Monday, August 4 episode.

"Not while my son's missing, come on," Nikolas replies.

After yet another search fails to turn up his son however, he could find an emotional comfort in Britt's arms.

Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Patrick (Jason Thompson) seriously doubt Nina's (Michelle Stafford) sincerity, and are convinced she not only set things up so Patrick would be fired from the hospital following Rafe's surgery, but also arranged for Sam to find Silas (Michael Easton) with her-and they want proof so they can expose her as a fraud.

"I would still like knowing if it was Nina or if it was Silas," Patrick says to Sam in the clip.

While the two investigate however, Nina continues to try placing a major wedge between her husband and his ex-girlfriend, in an effort to fully get revenge on him for cheating on her before her decades-long coma.

"I still can't believe she would take his word over yours," Nina says.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
