The oldest kids of TLC's Brown family could be preparing to welcome their 18th sibling, but the abundance of kids on Sister Wives may not do much to convince them all to follow in their parents' footsteps and have polygamous marriages.

Meri Still Hints Unhappiness In Plural Marriage?

In fact, as the Brown kids begin approaching the same ages their parents were when they chose to enter into their controversial marriage arrangement, most of the elder teens appear to still be on the fence about what they want from their future lives.

The only teen who has revealed explicit plans to follow in her parents' footsteps has been Mariah, Meri & Kody's only child together, revealing in season four that she would like to have sister wives in her future, but only after she received an education first.

Kody Drops A Huge Hint That Robyn IS Pregnant?

"There's a stereotype that Polygamous women don't go to college and don't get an education," she said at the time. "That's not me, because I want an education. I want to be a doctor, but I also want to live plural marriage."

When pressed for reasons why she would live a plural lifestyle, Mariah cited how much she loved coming from a huge family like hers.

"I haven't really thought about how big of a family I want," she said. "I love my big family, so I want a big family."

Unlike Mariah however, her sister Maddie (her mother is Janelle), revealed this past season that she not only has absolutely no interest in a polygamous lifestyle, but may abandon the family's Fundamentalist Mormon religion completely, because she doesn't share similar beliefs about things like courting-which forbids kissing, hugging, or even holding hands before marriage.

"Our parents think that you shouldn't hug, or hold hands, or kiss," she said in a recent episode that saw her going on a date. "But I think that if you like the guy, it's okay to kiss him."

However, regardless of the kids personal decisions, their family could be getting bigger. Fans expected news of Robyn's reported pregnancy to be revealed during the season 5 tell-all episode, but were left without confirmation.

Kody, the family patriarch did tweet a few messages to his followers however which seemed to indicate he was about to welcome baby number 18 into his already large family.

"Nothing to say yet except: We are a great show for a First Response pregnancy test add! Uh...right??" he tweeted during the July 27 Tell-All.

Fans could receive confirmation about a pregnancy when the show returns for its next season. TLC has yet to release a premiere date for new episodes.
