Hawaii Five-0's Masi Oka is back on set, and the Medical Examiner is getting a little help from his new trainee.

Dr. Max Bergman (Oka) and Five-0 newcomer Dr. Mindy Shaw (Amanda Setton) donned their blue jump suits as the CBS drama filmed in late July. Situated on a ridge trail with a view of the ocean, the new duo can be seen examining two bloody - and very dead - joggers.

Filming started during the second week of July, but the July 29 shoot was the first to include Oka. That does not mean that Max and Mindy will be absent from the premiere since airing order may differ from filming order.

Over the following days, Five-0 took production down into the city where the series spent time filming an action scene involving Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), Danny Williams (Scott Caan), and plenty of gunfire. Max, meanwhile, teamed up with Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim) and Kamekona (Taylor Wily).
