MTV's Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has had a very long summer. She finished her final exams, gave birth to baby Kaiser on June 29, and celebrated the fifth birthday of her elder son Jace this past weekend. She is also taking classes, which isn't always the easiest thing as the mother of two young children.

"Almost time for school," tweeted Evans on Monday afternoon, "Learning about the cardiovascular system in depth." Evans followed the statement up with the image of a sad face with a gun pointed to it.

Returning to school seems especially difficult coming off the big birthday weekend, during which Evans took her son Jace to the aquarium and threw a Sunday afternoon birthday party, complete with games and family fun.

"Jace's birthday party yesterday was a huge success!" boasted Evans on Twitter early Monday morning. "Everyone had such a blast!"

It seems that Jace's absentee father, Andrew Lewis, was not in attendance, though the 5-year-old was surrounded by loved ones for the happy occasion, including his mother, baby brother Kaiser, and little Kaiser's father Nathan Griffith.

While Evans hasn't downloaded photos from the event just yet, she promises to have them up off her camera and on the web for fans and friends sometime soon, possibly even later this week.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m ET/PT.
