Script revisions have put a short delay on the next James Bond movie, but rumors have surfaced that some big names are interested in the coveted villain and Bond girl roles that could mean a big step for those actors.

'James Bond 24' Script Could Be Headed For More Revisions, Release Date In Trouble?

Speaking with The Sun in June, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said that he wasn't much of a James Bond, but he would be interested in playing a villain in an upcoming installment.

"I am never going to be cast to play a Bruce Willis character in Die Hard," Radcliffe said. "I would make a much better villain than Bond -- I am not nearly strapping enough to play Bond."

As for the other icon role in a James Bond movie, KPopStarz said that rumors are surfacing around Kate Upton as a potential Bond girl. Upton's acting career has been short with her only credits in Tower Heist, The Three Stooges, and this year's comedy The Other Woman.

Nabbing the role as a Bond girl would be big for Upton as recent recipients Olga Kurylenko and Halle Berry have gone on to do successful work both prior and after they grabbed a role in a Bond movie.

But Upton may have steep competition as the rumor also marks Oscar winner Penelope Cruz as a potential Bond girl. Cruz is no novice to blockbuster films, as she starred in the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and would have the sexuality to pull off the role. Her husband, Javier Bardem, starred in the last Bond movie, Skyfall.

Bond 24 is set to open in theaters in November 2015.
