While the Fantastic Four reboot let some fans down when no footage was shown at Comic-Con, with production wrapping this week, it seems like the first look at director Josh Trank's movie could be coming sooner than many had thought.

Is This What 'The Thing' Will Look Like In 'Fantastic Four?'

Sue Storm herself, Kate Mara, took to Twitter and posted a photo of her with her fellow Fantastic Four members Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell after production wrapped on the superhero movie.

With the lack of Comic-Con presence and production finished up, it looks like the first footage of Fantastic Four could be on the way soon. Writer Simon Kinberg teased that WonderCon or New York Comic-Con could be the home for the first footage and either would make sense judging on giving the team time to get into the editing bay.

Showing the footage should also help with the press for the film, which as of right now, is not high on many fans' lists after the critical and commercial failure of the Fantastic Four series from the 2000s. It will also help Fox jump into the ring after Batman v. Superman and Avengers: Age of Ultron stole the show with footage at San Diego Comic-Con.

The first footage should give both press and fans an idea of the way Trank is headed with the rebooted franchise and if there should be some hope for the Marvel team.

Fantastic Four is directed by Josh Trank from a script by Simon Kinberg and is set to open in theaters on June 19, 2015.
