Jenelle Evans may be gearing up to live-tweet Wednesday night's new episode of Teen Mom 2 on MTV, but Tuesday was all about her schooling, her kids and a little chocolate too.

"Been studying about the cardiovascular system for an hour now," tweeted Evans on Tuesday, "Taking a break then back to it! Getting ready for this exam."

While most of the responses to Evans post were relatively positive and encouraging, a few cracked jokes about her education, suggesting that the mother of two is hardly up to the task.

A few hours later Evans returned to call out any haters. "Making fun of me going to a tech. College…Uhmm…" she tweeted, with a sly looking cartoon face at the end.

The typically defensive Evans did not let to critics get her down for too long though, and she celebrated the end of the day and all her hard work with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie pie. "#Fresh #Fata--" she joked alongside a photo of the partially eaten desert, which still looked warm from the oven with melted chocolate.

Earlier in the day Evans had struggled to get into the swing of studying, still coming off the big birthday weekend for her son Jace during which she took the five-year-old to the aquarium and threw a birthday party.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
