Jesse McCartney is back on ABC Family's Young and Hungry Wednesday night as he continue to romance Gabi (Emily Osment) on the show.

Jesse McCartney Guest Stars On ABC Family Show After Ashley Tisdale Reveals Being Original Lead

On Tuesday, E! Online gave a preview of tonight's episode, which showed the two on a very awkward double date.

McCartney isn't just acting, however. The 27-year-old just released his new album In Technicolor. "I think each track is saying something new," McCartney told Hollywood Life on Monday. "And musically, I just think there's something for everybody. Somebody who's not necessarily trained in music is really going to love it. But even musicians will listen to this and be like, 'Oh, there was some thought put into this album.'"

McCartney released an EP last year, but it's been six years since his last album. McCartney actually said the new album was an "accident" and came together after he was working with hot band Hot Chelle Rae. During a writing session, the song Back Together came along and McCartney determined that was the "blueprint for what the rest of the album would sound like!"

No word if McCartney will continue to be on Young and Hungry after his arc is over, but the show is doing really well. Star Osment (best known previously for her work on Hannah Montana) was actually just nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Star, Female.

Young and Hungry was also nominated for Choice Summer TV Show against Baby Daddy, Girl Meets World, So You Think You Can Dance, Under The Dome and Wipeout. Young and Hungry airs tonight on ABC Family.
