It looks like Star Wars: Episode VII will definitely be a film for the fans to enjoy based on some new information that Disney CEO Bob Iger mentioned.

Will 'Episode VII' Have A Monastery?

On Tuesday, Business Insider posted the details from Iger when he was on CNBC's "Closing Bell." Even though he didn't have too much to say about it, he did reveal the status of how things are going and how everyone took a break ever since a recent incident took place.

"I can only tell you that production is underway," Iger said. "We had a very brief hiatus... which is due in part to the fact that Harrison Ford broke his ankle."

The CEO then said something else that ought to please the fans.

"The footage we've seen is very, very exciting to us," he said. "I think there's about 500 days left between now and December 18, 2015 when the movie comes out. That doesn't seem like very long."

Iger also revealed that he and everyone else who's part of the film are pretty much in the same spot as the fans are right now.

"There's a lot of pent up demand," he said. "We're just as excited as the fans are about it."

Some of the cast members include Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o and John Boyega. Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher are expected to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia along with Ford who will play Han Solo again. Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker are also expected to return.
