It looks like things might not be so cheery between Aviva Drescher and her father after all. The Real Housewives of New York star failed to attend her 76-year-old father George Teichner's wedding this past weekend to his 25-year-old bride, Dana Lavette Cody.

According to Reality Tea, the couple married in a beach ceremony in Malibu, Calif. over the weekend with Teichner calling the ceremony "ecstasy." So far, neither Drescher nor Teichner have explained why she wasn't present at the wedding.

Just last month, there was speculation that Teichner's spinoff show will focus on his May-December relationship with Cody.

Ramona Singer Fired From The Real Housewives Of New York?

"Even though the current season of RHONY is a ratings flop, the breakout stars are Aviva's dad, and Lavette," a source told Radar Online back in July. "Fans have very strong reactions to both of them as individuals, and of course as a couple. Dana's show doesn't have a working title yet, but will begin filming at the end of August."

At the time, it looked as though Drescher was on board with the plans, as she's even hinted in the past that she wouldn't mind seeing her father's fiancée join the Real Housewives of New York cast as well.

"They were just in Europe together, and before they went to Europe they stayed with me in my apartment. My kids love my new future stepmother," Drescher said. "You know, I would love to see my father's fiancée join the cast. I think she would be really interesting."
