Chrissy Teigen threw the first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game on Tuesday night with the help of a little alcohol.

Five Reasons Why We Love Chrissy Teigen

"Dad making birthday margaritas like only dad can!! I love you dad, happy birthday!!!!," she tweeted hours before the game, later adding, "Cr-p I'm pretty drunk."

It seemed she needed some drinks to help her loosen up since the day before she tweeted, "my @dodgers first pitch is tomorrow and my stomach is in knots. I am legit going to have to medicate myself I've never been so nervous."

Aside making drinks, Teigen's father also helped her with her form. The 28-year-old posted a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram and she's seen asking her dad, "What do I do, though?" Her dad quickly gave her some pointers.

Teigen's warm-up seemed to help since the supermodel threw a decent first pitch. After her throw, Teigen ran into the arms of catcher Drew Butera, who was shocked by her reaction.

"I wasn't expecting it at all," Butera told Fox Sports. "You never really know what's going to happen with first pitches so, a little bit surprised, yeah."

Teigen also looked adorable in her sports attire. She sported knee-high socks, very short blue shorts and a Dodgers jersey with the word "Nugz" written on the back.

"Forty nuggets at McDonalds is my favorite junk food," Teigen explained to the crowd, as quoted by Los Angeles Times. "My husband gave me the name 40 Nugz as my drunken rapper name."

Teigen may have also been a good luck charm since the Dodgers beat the Los Angeles Angels 5-4.
