One Direction just launched their new fragrance called You & I this week and they were as hands-on with the scent as they are with their upcoming fourth album.

"We've got as many fragrances as albums," Liam Payne told Teen Vogue this week. "We're really hands-on this time," Payne noted about their next album, which is supposed to come out in late fall. "A lot of our singles are bold and pop, but there's a chill factor on the new one. It's like driving down a road in California on a lovely day."

"I suppose it's happened naturally in the progression of the three. That's the way we wanted it," One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson added. "But it's not a drastic change." One Direction is currently on their North American leg of the Where We Are tour, which just started last week, but they still made time to get involved in how their fragrance smelled for their fans. The magazine described You & I as a "sparkling fruity scent."

"This one is fruity, but a little bit more toned down and not too bold," Payne said about their newest endeavor. "Not like the ones that give you a headache after."

You & I is available for pre-order now at Macys.com. 1D's next tour stop is tonight in Foxborough, Mass.
