Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes partners Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will again produce along with Galen Walker and Scott Mednick.

It is unclear if director Liebesmann will return as he was not included in the release and The Hollywood Reporter thinks they may replace him at the helm. No word if Bay is interested in the role.

"Launching a new take on the Turtles into the feature film world was a daunting task because as fans of them ourselves, we felt a great responsibility to ensure audiences were going to experience everything they loved about the Turtles, while also getting to see them brought to life in a way they had never been seen before," president of Paramount's film group, Adam Goodman, said.

"The result exceeded our high expectations and the response to the film is beyond great, making it all the more fun to get started on the continuation of their story."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner and Whoopi Goldberg with Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, and Pete Ploszek playing the turtles. Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub also do voice-work for Leonardo and Splinter.
