With the relative uncertainty surrounding the cast of the final season of Fox's Glee, one person who is confident he will be back is Chord Overstreet.

Sam will likely be back for every episode of the final season as Overstreet, his portrayer, confirmed to E! News this week.

He reportedly told the publication that he will be "back to work in September" for the final season of Glee.

"I assume I will be in all of the episodes," Overstreet said at the premiere of The Expendables 3 this week.

The actor did not reveal much about where Sam will be at in his life by the time Season 6 hits, but he did tease one detail.

"I know I am back in Ohio at the school," he spilled. "I know the writers are three to four episodes in right now and from what I've heard it's really fun stuff."

The final season of Glee was shortened to just 13 episodes from the usual 20 or 22. This may be due to declining ratings, as the Season 5 finale in May received just over two million viewers, a far cry from the success of its first few seasons, which saw it reaching heights of 10 million viewers per episode.

Glee's final season is expected to air in early 2015 on Fox, considering the series was left off the network's Fall 2014 schedule.

A specific premiere date for the final season has not yet been announced by Fox.
