After a sold out show in Washington DC last night, One Direction's Harry Styles and Niall Horan took to their Twitter accounts to honor the life of Robin Williams.
One Direction Wins Nine Awards At Teen Choice Awards Despite Being On Summer Tour
The news of William's death spread yesterday evening and Styles couldn't help but to honor one of his favorite actors. Styles wrote, "One of my all time favourites. Movies I grew up watching over and over again. A genius that will be so missed. R.I.P. Robin Williams." Horan also wrote, "Can't believe it! What a talented, hilarious man! Loved him since I was a kid!! Thoughts are with robins family at this hard time ! #RIProbin"
One Direction is currently on their Where We Are tour in the United States. The band also thanked their fans for a great time in Washington DC.
Zayn Malik tweeted yesterday, "The show was great thanks Washington !! :)" Horan also added on his Twitter, "DC it was sick last night ! thank you ! See ya soon ! X let's go Philly baby" One Direction's next summer tour stop is in Philadelphia, PA on August 13 and August 14. Despite being on their summer tour, the boy band just won nine awards at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday and Styles won his own for "Choice Smile."
"Gutted we weren't at the TCA's tonight!" Horan also tweeted, "I heard it was great! thank you all soo much for all the awards! It means soo much to us ! Love you"
