Big Jim Rennie (Dean Norris) will be in for a rude awakening about his wife Pauline (Sherry Stringfield) on an upcoming episode of CBS' Under the Dome.

Body Count on Under the Dome Will Be 'Revved Up' in Season 2

CBS released a new plot synopsis this week for Episode 10 of Season 2, titled The Fall. As the press release reveals, Big Jim "finally learns" the truth about Pauline in The Fall, an episode that will air Monday, Sept. 1.

"Big Jim finally learns the shocking truth about what really happened to his wife, Pauline, when they are reunited," the synopsis reads. "Meanwhile, climate change poses a new threat to Chester's Mill."

It had previously been announced that Stringfield would be signing on to play Pauline in Season 2 of Under the Dome. She is most commonly known for her role on NBC's ER. Stringfield appeared in Episode 7, which aired Monday night, and will appear again in Episode 8 next week.

Going into Episode 10, Big Jim will have made a deal that may impact Chester's Mill forever, according to a synopsis for Episode 9.

"Big Jim makes a deal that could seal the fate of the residents of Chester's Mill forever," the synopsis reads. Meanwhile, "When Barbie [Mike Vogel] is apprehended by a group of mysterious men, he is relentlessly interrogated about his connection to the Dome."

Under the Dome Season 2 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. on CBS.
