With renewal for A&E's Longmire still undetermined, some of the cast have encouraged fans to voice their enthusiasm for the series directly to the network.

A&E Continues To Promote 'Longmire' As Series Awaits Renewal For 4th Season

"For those who asked, @AETV has until sometime in Sept. to decide on a pickup for #Longmire," actor Lou Diamond Phillips told fans on Twitter Wednesday evening. "Feeling pretty good about it but let 'em know!"

Phillips' announcement of a September deadline may discourage fans who thought the series had until October to be renewed, which was the case for Season 3's renewal in 2013. Nonetheless, his confidence was inspiring and viewers eagerly tweeted back at @AETV begging for the criminal drama to get a fourth season on the network.

'Longmire' Author Doesn't 'Worry' About Show Being Renewed For 4th Season

"Another season of Longmire!!!" declared @ClanWolfe.

"RENEW LONGMIRE!" agreed @Goodmbata. "TV this good doesn't come along often!! Keep it going!"

Actress Kate Sackhoff also seems fairly confident of the show's renewal. "Next season is going to be my favorite," she claimed on Twitter August 1 just before the Season 3 finale. Author Craig Johnson, who wrote the books on which the series is based, has also stated that he doesn't "worry" about the show's future.

At this rate, the cast of Longmire just might be able to will Season 4 into existence come 2015. The series also has the added bonus of being the network's highest-rated scripted drama, which certainly works in Phillips' and Sackhoff's favor.

If A&E does opt to renewed Longmire, season four will likely premiere sometime in June 2015.
