Andy and Sam of ABC's police drama Rookie Blue are still going strong but she attempts to put a halt on their relationship after he possibly moves too fast in the upcoming episode Fragments.

Part one of the midseason finale, Fragments definitely sets up the show to take a hiatus on the same dramatic note it premiered. While Sam and Andy have managed to make their relationship work despite their struggles, Sam might move a little too fast for her comfort when he offers her a key to his place.

Even though this is a huge gesture for Sam, who is usually the one that pulls back when things get too close, it was Andy who backed away and said she didn't want having a key to ruin their relationship.

Missy Peregrym Reveals If Andy Misses Nick

Still, she is making efforts in moving forward with Sam and even has a heart to heart with Nick to cut ties once and for all.

But that doesn't mean the troubles for Sam and Andy are completely over. As if right on cue, Marlo comes back and is already attempting to take control on 15 Divison. It doesn't help that Andy isn't too happy about her return.

Missy Peregrym, who portrays Andy, spoke with TVLine on July 17 about how she and Sam's relationship will unfold.

"It had to come to this point where we needed to make a change. Otherwise, there was no point in getting back together. As nice as it is - 'Sam and Andy are together, and it's awesome!' - unless we're wiling to be vulnerable with each other and open up, we can't actually move forward.

So I was really excited to do this scene. I was happy that we were going there."
