Chris O'Donnell (Callen) kicked off the madness and helped spread awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) by pouring a bucket of ice cold water over his head. Before he dried out, the actor challenged his castmates and five children to do the same (videos below).

Eric Christian Olsen (Deeks) and Daniela Ruah (Kensi) than did the same, choosing to donate to the cause while taking the #IceBucketChallenge to #StrikeOutALS. The duo decided to challenge the cast of their new Monday night lead in, Scorpion, to do the same.

Olsen and Ruah weren't the only NCIS: LA cast members to challenge Scorpion, however. Barrett Foa chose to target the new series as well when he joined Renee Felice Smith in drenching themselves with their own buckets of ice laden water.
