Faizal Ahmad, a new addition to the cast of Fast and Furious 7, recently spoke about his experience working on the set of the movie and dished a bit about his role in the film.

In an interview with IBN, the Indian actor suggested that he was with the good team, i.e. Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel.

"It's not an Indian part. It's essential to the script which is why I got excited," he said. "My work is with the entire gang. It was exciting to work with Vin Diesel and all. We all grew up watching it...lot of action and cars."

While the actor might not have a very substantial role to play in the movie, he might lend some force to the team.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. James Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh instalment reprising their roles include Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

Fast and Furious 7 will hit theaters in April 3, 2015.
