Having finally completed filming for her role as Peggy Olson on AMC's Mad Men, actress Elisabeth Moss admits that she's going to miss the series now that it's over.

Creator Matthew Weiner Dishes On Final Episodes Of 'Mad Men'

"You kind of think you prepare for something for so many months, and frankly for a couple of years [because] we've known that season seven would be the last one," explained Moss in an interview with NY Daily News on Monday.

While the actress had been preparing for the end, she realized she was nowhere near ready for it. "So you think we gotta be ready for it, right?" she said, "And then it just hits you like a ton of f---ing bricks. You have this reaction like 'What is wrong with me? It's just a TV show!' But you kind of can't help it."

Moss went on to admit that she'd miss the entire cast, though she noted one actor in particular she will miss working with: John Slattery (Roger Sterling). "He's been one of my favorite people to work with over the past few years…" claimed Miss, "Every time I've gotten a scene with him, which hasn't been too many times, I've been so happy and so honored to work with him."

The end of the drama, which is officially done with filming and has entered post-production, marks the beginning of new projects for many involved. Creator Matthew Weiner is already promoting his next film, as is Moss, who stars in the recent drama The One I Love.

Mad Men returns to AMC with the last few episodes for its seventh and final season in early 2015.
