A new survey revealed that the CW's Beauty and the Beast is the most pirated show in New York.

Writing Is Going To Be "Strong," Fans "Won't Be Disappointed" In Season 3 Of Beauty and the Beast

The AV Club conducted the survey which suggested that the Beauty and the Beast was quite wanted in New York.

The show's official Twitter account picked up on the news and while they thought the piece was a bit scathing did lappreciate that New York was watching Beauty and the Beast.

"A mean article, but at least now they acknowledge us: New York Got Caught Pirating CW's Beauty & the Beast https://tiny.cc/jgppkx  #BATB," tweeted on August 16.

This was followed by a more celebratory tweet:

"Looks Like the New Yorkers really Love Beauty and the Beast."

Stuart Gillard, the director of Beauty and the Beast, recently suggested that filming for season 3 of the show will be taking place in New York.

Gillard has previously announced that shooting would begin on August 28. This has been followed by the director gushing about how much he loved filming in New York and being on location for the CW show. 

Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
