The cast and crew of Netflix's Orange is the New Black have plenty of reasons to celebrate after a very successful weekend.

Uzo Aduba Doesn't Want Suzanne To Feel The Need To 'Chase'

The Creative Arts Emmy Award ceremony was held Saturday, in which Orange is the New Black was nominated for several awards. The ceremony, which also awards guest acting in comedy and drama series, was a big one for the prison series.

Uzo Aduba, who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren on Orange is the New Black, took home the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series. She was nominated against NBC's Saturday Night Live guest hosts Tina Fey and Melissa McCarthy, Joan Cusack from Showtime's Shameless and her own co-stars Laverne Cox (who plays Sophia) and Natasha Lyonne (Nicky).

"I'm speechless," Aduba said as she accepted the Emmy. "I don't know how to say how incredibly impressed I am to be a part of this show."

Aduba was not the only member of Orange is the New Black to go home with a trophy Saturday. Jennifer Euston, the casting director on the series, also won an Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series. Additionally, William Turro won the Emmy for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series for the episode Tit Punch.

All in all it's a good sign for the popular Netflix series heading into next Monday's primetime Emmy telecast. The series is up for a lot of big awards and they could end up winning them if this streak continues.

The series is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series while Taylor Schilling (Piper) is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Kate Mulgrew (Red) is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Jodie Foster is nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series for the episode Lesbian Request Denied while Liz Friedman and Jenji Kohan are nominated for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for the first episode of the series.

Orange is the New Black Season 3 is expected to being streaming in Summer 2015 on Netflix. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available for streaming on the site. The Primetime Emmys will air on Monday, Aug. 25 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.
