Wiz Khalifa has had one epic summer. Other than his brief stint in jail in May, the 26-year-old rap star has been flying high (no pun intended) on the charts and in her personal life with Amber Rose and Baby Bash. As his "Under the Influence" tour with Young Jeezy and more comes to an end, he is gearing up to release his third studio album, BLACC HOLLYWOOD on Aug. 19.

The Pittsburgh native’s lead single, “We Dem Boyz,” has enjoyed major radio spins all summer, and he and his label are hoping to see the same success when the album is released in under 24 hours.

Of course, as most major artists do these days, Wiz stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to discuss his new album, life as a dad, and more with Charlamagne tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy.

Here’s what we learned.

1) BLACC HOLLYWOOD is all about “embracing who you are, creatively.”
Wiz, who’s known for being himself at all times, wants his fans to be just as comfortable with themselves as he is. This album emphasizes that theme in its’ 13 tracks. Stream it, here.

2) Prince and Michael Jackson served as major inspirations for this album. Khalifa wanted the album to have hit after hit, similar to the compositions two of music’s greatest artists. To ensure this happened, he kept their work in the forefront of his mind when recording. No pressure, or anything.

3) Wiz was the executive producer on this album. Ultimately, how the album performs will prove if Wiz has the ear and mind to make great music that fans respond to-- Again, no pressure but a major accomplishment for the fairly young artist.

4) He identifies himself as “a little weirdo.” Growing up, he was considered different because of how he was raised and what he was into. He was known as the kid who got girls and liked recreational drugs (if we are being politically correct), and that same image has worked well for him in his rap career.

5) Though he did not appreciate the way Tyga left the Under the Influence tour, the two are not beefing. Wiz’s friend Tyga was originally scheduled to be on his current tour, but ended up backing out last minute. He did not tell Wiz directly and in an interview, Khalifa said that he was “wack” for doing that. But, he revealed that the two immediately talked after that and have patched everything up.

6) Wiz is super busy, these days. Besides raising his son, he is gearing up to release a new collection of Converse sneakers, promoting his single "Shell Shocked" from the new Ninja Turtles movie, and due to film a movie with Uncle Snoop in September, all the while actively looking for new talent to sign to Taylor Gang.

7) Amber Rose, his wife of one year as of Aug. 18, isn’t one of the artists he’s looking to sign. After getting pregnant, Amber decided not to pursue a career in music—So, there’s that. No comment.

8) Baby Bash will have to wait a few years before he has a sibling. Wiz is still focused on building his empire, and now that his son is about to hit the terrible two’s, another baby is not in he and Amber’s near future.

For now, they have their hands full with this adorable-ness.

9) Wiz gives himself props for how well he is able to multi-task, these days. Before Wiz went on tour, he dished that his day-to-day schedule revolved around his son after coming home from the studio at 6 a.m. Most days, he is up with Bash and goes to sleep, before working again, during his naps. As he said, “for a 26-year-old stoner”, that’s pretty good.

10) Wiz and Amber stay under the radar and out of the headlines because they want to be. No shade to the other power couples like Jay & Bey or Kimye, but Wiz likes to have his relationship to himself. Though he didn’t “tell any secrets”, he did say the only way couples stay in the headlines is because they choose to be in front of the paparazzi.

11) Wiz likes to make his fans happy, no matter what the media says about his image—He likes who he is.
