It looks as though Kate Gosselin has managed to do the inevitable, and that's extending her 15 minutes of fame. The reality television star will be spending more time on the small screen this year as TLC has ordered more Kate Gosselin specials for the network.

Kate Gosselin Slams Rumors That She Bullies Her Family 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable network has ordered additional hours from the reality star and her eight children, although it's not clear how many specials will be released in the next several months.

The site says that this summer's revival of her show earned a strong 2.1 million viewers when it premiered back in June, although that number is small compared to the nearly 10 million viewers she received back during the peak of her popularity in 2009.

Kate Gosselin Admits That She Sometimes Cries Behind Closed Doors  

Meanwhile, it's been rumored that Kate Gosselin's former bodyguard and boyfriend has reunited with the star and her kids. Steve Neild was caught vacationing with her and her eight kids after reports that said he had gone back to his wife and family.

Earlier this week, Gosselin and Neild were reportedly spotted visiting Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth, Mass.

A source told RadarOnline on Thursday, "We noticed Kate and her eight kids walking towards the entrance. I had my camera in hand and when I went to take a picture of Kate and the kids, Steve Neild came around the car and ended up in the picture!"

The source added, "Steve rode there with Kate and the kids. My husband was about five feet behind me and he said that he saw Steve, Kate, and the kids getting out of her black sprinter van, the BBB, as she calls it."
