Blake Shelton Joins Barbara Streisand Duet Album

The musician certainly has a lot to celebrate. His new single Neon Light hit radio waves this week and his new album Bringing Back the Shine is due out in about a month.

Shelton had quite a bit of fun with the release of his single, informing various celebrities such as Carson Daly, Adam Levine, Oprah, and even President Barack Obama that they could "go ahead" and promote the track on Twitter. He even went ahead and bought the song himself, just to show support for his own efforts.

Lambert has been touring for her June 3 album Platinum, which has garnered much success with singles like Automatic and the hit Carrie Underwood duet Somethin' Bad. She's scheduled to perform in Raleigh, NC August 21 before moving along the east coast up into New York.

Shelton will also be joining up with Lambert when they both attend the Route 91 harvest Festival in Las Vegas on October 4. It will be the first country music event ever to take place in Las Vegas.

Bringing Back the Shine hits stores September 30, 2014.
