Towanda Braxton has shed light on her much talked about outburst on the Season 4 premiere of WeTV's Braxton Family Values and confessed that rumors concerning her envying her sister Tamar Braxton was the root of it all.

She told ABC News Radio recently, "I detested the fact that everybody thought, or everybody was feeling that Towanda was jealous of Tamar. I'm like 'how dare you think that someone who actually volunteered to carry your child to be jealous?' That's ridiculous to me. And whenever Tamar needed, and whenever Tamar wanted me to be there, I was there."

She added that she could not show her frustrations because when she did she was always hit with backlash. She spoke on one another incident in which she couldn't hold it in any longer.

"That's when someone talked about my children. But when we were sitting together as a family I just felt that I wasn't being heard, and it was a long time coming."

Trina Braxton, who witnessed Towanda's emotional moment firsthand, also told the publication that she was also impacted by it all.

"No matter how much we argue, no matter how much we fuss, no matter how much we fight, when one hurts we hurt too."

Towanda also spoke on the infamous incident on her WeTV blog.

"One thing is for certain, I'm ABSOLUTELY not ever going to tolerate ANYONE disrespecting my children or nieces and nephews. They are off limits. I know I can't expect anyone to act or react the way that I'd like.

I can no longer be a punching bag of everyone else's emotions. Just because I don't wear my emotions on my sleeve, it doesn't mean I'm not hurting or going through something. I am human."
