According to RadarOnline, her ex-husband John Morgan has been battling in court over Sonja's bankruptcy case along with various issues including the unpaid alimony.

The site reports that three years ago Sonja filed a lawsuit against her husband as part of her bankruptcy, claiming that during their marriage the couple purchased a multi-million dollar home in Colorado using a trust and that it was John who was blocking the sale of it - despite the fact that she owns 50 percent as laid out in their divorce agreement.

John's attorney filed a motion to withdraw a request from the bankruptcy report, stating, "Mr. Morgan has failed to make any meaningful or credible attempt to pay outstanding legal invoices since August 2012, despite having the financial ability to do so."

Just recently, Morgan sold her $5.7 million dollar French Estate back in May to help pay off her debts with a net of approximately $4.5 million after closing.

The trustee in her case filed the report while stating, "The Trustee of the above-captioned bankruptcy estate, hereby reports as to the private sale of the estate's interest in certain real property known as 'La Clos' located on the Parc de l'Oumede in Ramatuelle, France."

Morgan originally listed the French estate at $8 million but had to settle for much less when it sold.

It is also unknown on whether Morgan will be returning for another season of the Real Housewives of New York.
