Porn star Belle Knox has made herself quite the trademark with her speeches and interviews on feminism and treating women like people, and it looks like she's caused a controversy with other writers on the subject.

Belle Knox Worked With The 'Most Popular' X-Rated Performer?

On Wednesday, Tech Times posted a column that responded to another column from New York Post. A writer named Doree Lewak wrote a story with the title "Hey, ladies- catcalls are flattering! Deal with it." The story went on about how she seemed to defend the men who make snarky remarks about women when they walk down the street. Apparently, this article received a lot of criticism telling Lewak how wrong she is.

Lewak also made a comment about X-rated actress Belle Knox, giving the impression that she is not really a supporter of feminism.

"Isn't feminism all about self-empowerment, anyway- or am I just lifting from an impassioned speech by a college porn star named Belle Knox?" she wrote.

The writer of Tech Times responded to this comment by pointing out that she has a point although there's something she missed, one of them including how degrading her comment sounded towards Knox.

"Feminism is about self-empowerment, but if your empowerment comes from men shouting compliments at you on the street, that's not exactly coming from within, now is it?" the response says. "Also, way to try to knock feminism by mocking Knox. I'm pretty sure putting down other women isn't part of feminism either."
