Unless you've been under a rock, away from Instagram, or are just not a fan of hip hop-- You know that Remy Ma was released from prison in early August. Since then, she's been on a major press tour, catching up with the press and her fans after a 6 and 1/2 year hiatus from the industry while she was locked away.

After her verse on DJ Khaled's They Don't Love You No More (Remix) received rave reviews from... well, pretty much everyone... Remy has proven that she's back and better than ever.

In a new interview with 'The Breakfast Club', the rapper (who hates the term "female rapper") spills all about everything that happened during her 6 years in prison.

See Remy Ma's Latest Pictures with Papoose!

Here are the 20 Things We Learned. (Yes, it was that long)

1. Remy Ma is sure of who she is. Many are shocked to see Remy after prison, in seemingly better shape than she was before. She revealed that she didn’t lose herself because she never needed to find herself in the first place.

2. The female prison system isn’t set up for girls to stay in shape.  Though they stay just as long as their male counterparts, Remy says that women don’t have access to the same type of workout equipment that men have. Two years before she got out, she put down the pasta and stayed in shape.

3. She did not write every single day, but she wrote a whole lot while she was away.

4. Remy misses the friends she made in prison during her 6.5 year stay, but she cannot talk to them because of parole stipulations.

5. She fought a girl in prison because she told her she was “ugly” and did not like her. The girl, as she describes, was “more manly” than Charlamagne and DJ Envy put together. The two are not cool, to this day.

 6. She’s considering the possibility of signing with DJ Khaled and his “We the Best” label.

7. Remy Ma and Papoose dated secretly for years before they decided to get married.

8. She did not know that Papoose was going to “hold her down” the way he did, while she was in jail. During her 6.5 year lock down, he did everything from diss songs to twitter rants to defend her honor. The true definition of a ride or die.

9. She and Papoose met through mutual friends in the industry and at first, she wasn’t a fan of his. The two later spent time together in the studio and became great friends after she hipped him to the ins-and-outs of the industry.

10. Jail is not cool. She never, ever, ever wants to go back and doesn’t want people to glorify it.

11. She doesn’t like the term “female rapper” because she doesn’t think it’s fair to separate the talent based on gender. Fans may assume that a woman can “only be so good,” and prefers to be called a rapper, without the gender recognition.

12. She and Fat Joe have yet to see each other since her release, but the two are speaking again after their previous fall out.

13. Remy thinks “Orange Is the New Black” is a little too nice, and that the characters are not “depressed enough.” The Netflix Emmy-nominated smash show has the prison employees correctly portrayed, but not the actual inmates according to what she experienced.

14. She did not have a prison wife. Most of her friends were in a same-sex relationship while they were in jail

15. Expect a Remy Ma and Nicki collab sometime soon. Nicki has already reached out to Remy since she’s been out, and Remy wants to do something “epic.” So Nicki fans, you can stop bashing Rem on Instagram.

16. She admits she has to get used to living with her 14-year-old son again because he is a little man now. When Remy went to jail, he was 7-years-old so she missed a lot of his life, though he did visit her in jail.

17. Remy’s secret dream is to be a wedding planner. Because of all of the connections she made during her career, she knows everyone from photographers to caterers. Still, she is going to take her time to plan her wedding.

18. She loves the warm welcome she’s received from fans and friends. Remy’s homecoming has put her on a pedestal, and she’s aware that it’s not normal—So she is extremely grateful.

19. Though she is obviously happy to be out of prison, she is not completely free yet. Remy will be on parole for five years and during this time, she can have no drinks, drugs, or police contact. Which means she can’t even get pulled over or be in the car while someone else is. She is extremely careful.

20. Remy is happy to be back.
