The Avengers are heading into Age of Ultron without a leader, and Captain America won't be particularly keen on the idea.

SHIELD came crumbling down during Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the absence of Director Fury will leave Earth Mightiest Heroes without definitive orders when Ultron goes rouge.

"Well, he's a guy who is, he's a soldier. So he's, he's born into a world of orders and structures, and he likes being he likes being kind of a cog," said Chris Evans (Captain America), according to Entertainment Weekly. "And once S.H.I. E.L. D was kind of destroyed, he, he's looking for structure and, and now that Avengers don't really report to anyone, they report to each other, it's a different dynamic for him. And he's kinda trying to figure out where he fits in."

Whether it is for better or worse, the Avengers may actually find a leader as Avengers 2 progresses. Who that will be, however, remains a mystery.

"Well, you'll just have to wait and see the movie," Evans teased.
