In the final season of FX's Sons of Anarchy, the spirit of Tara (Maggie Siff) will be felt throughout each episode, though no one will feel it more than Gemma (Katey Sagal).

Sons of Anarchy Final Season Compared To The Godfather

Gemma brutally murdered Tara in the Season 6 finale and covered it up to absolve herself of the crime, ensuring that Jax (Charlie Hunnam) could never find out. After the murder, Gemma will be haunted by Tara in the upcoming seventh season. Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter spoke to TVLine this week about Tara's presence in the final season.

"Gemma has this odd, remorse-[driven] dialogue with Tara throughout the season," he teased, "as if she's sitting right there next to her."

However, Siff will not be returning to film any big dream sequences or flashbacks, Sutter clarified.

"I've never done flashbacks or dream sequences on this show. They tend to pull me out of the reality of a show like this. Although The Sopranos used them very effectively with Tony, it doesn't make sense for Jax to experience that."

It was also revealed by TVLine that Juice (Theo Rossi) will be having a scene in the Season 7 premiere that will please "straight female and gay male fans," indicating that he will likely be baring some skin. The series has frequently shown nude scenes of Jax but not many other regular characters.

The final season of Sons of Anarchy premieres Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
